Montgenèvre is a charming village sitting on a high east-west mountain pass just 2 km from the Italian border in the southern French Alps. One of the original Alpine ski resorts, Mongenèvre celebrated its 100th year as a ski resort in 2007.

Montgenèvre offers something for everyone when it comes to mountain biking. In addition to the 10 downhill trails and freeride features, there are tracks for all disciplines and abilities, including 3 dedicated enduro runs.

It's location at 1860 m in the southern French Alps means Montgenèvre benefits from Mediterranean sunshine but with a freshness that comes with altitude. Easy access, particularly from the Italian side, means a transfer time of just 1 hour 18 minutes from Turin airport. The resort is 2 hours 28 minutes from Grenoble airport, the closest French connection, and 1 hour 48 minutes from Chambéry.

Montgenèvre village looks over the north-facing slopes of Les Gondrans, Le Chenaillet and Le Rocher de l'Aigle. It's here that you'll find the bulk of the mountain biking trails and it get a bit more rain and is a bit cooler that the south-facing slopes of Le Chalvet behind the resort.
