Saint Lary MTB Videos

Take the Soum de Matte chairlift up from 1700 m to 2100 m and access 11 downhill mountain biking tracks from blue to black. 600 m vertical drop takes you back down the chair, or you can carry on down a more natural trail to the village.

Kick off the day on the blue Easy Rider, which is a nice wide motorway style track with some small jumps and drops. Hit it fast and it's plenty of fun even for more advanced riders and great as a warm up trail. The red Full Mountain is probably the centrepiece to the downhill biking in Saint Lary. It ramps up the fun with fast sections, switchbacks, beautifully crafted berms and some sweet jumps and drop offs. Everything has a chicken line so it's a great trail as your first red. But, if you ride all the features there's enough to put a big smile on even advanced riders faces.

Another highlight is Woodstock a short red run that short-cuts a section of Easy Rider. It's a well-maintained trail through the trees with, as the name suggests, some wooden modules and a series of nice little jumps and bermed switchbacks.

If you're here for the downhill, don't miss K Bourre, one of Saint Lary's more natural downhill tracks. Graded black, it's fast and technical and requires a bit more commitment especially if you want to hit some of the bigger jumps.
